One of the many sexy games for couples is role playing games. However, when trying out a little role play in the bedroom for the first time a lot of sensitivity is needed.
If your partner is reluctant then don’t force the issue, but maybe start things off by finding funny ways of incorporating a little role playing games into your intimate life. You may feel initially scared of the idea because coming up with a scenario can be a little daunting. You want a scenario that is remotely plausible and not too extreme but also has a sexy edge to it.
It may be an idea to start off with situations not too different to what you already experience. Once you are familiar with those you can move to more way-out scenarios.
It is also a good idea to choose scenarios in which there is a power imbalance of sorts, or scenarios where a relationship might be inappropriate, such as in the workplace.
Include a couple of props or costume items to help you get into the role play game and you’re ready to go! Before you begin, however, it is a good idea to discuss things a little beforehand so that you know exactly where your individual boundaries are. Role-playing is about pushing boundaries, not necessarily breaking them. You should have a code word that you can use if at any time you or your partner feels uncomfortable or you want to stop the role-play.
You could look up some role play scenarios on the net, but once you’ve had a look at a couple you’ll find that there are some common themes.
For one, the power imbalance is quite popular, as is the illicit relationship. One partner could be required to show the partner precisely how a particular sexual practice or technique should be done, or one partner does their best to seduce the other, using whatever means possible, while the other partner is not allowed to reciprocate or even respond in any way.
As with any of the sexy games for couples available, ensure that you do not push the issue if one partner is even slightly uncomfortable with where things are going.
Role playing games are great fun in a safe and secure environment and along with some other sexy games for couples it can really spice things up if you’ve been in a bit of a rut.
